HERE'S ANOTHER FEATHER WEIGHT REVELATOR 1961' BLONDE T~CASTER |

This baby's is just plain some of my best work ever. It starts with a super light piece of Swamp Ash finished in early 60's era blonde nitro. It's been subtly stressed and fatigued in the Revelator shop. The neck, a cozy late 50's style "C" back, is a dream. The rosewood slab is as black as night and the authentic clay dots are aged to perfection. This beautifully softened, vintage'd neck features a flatter 9.5" radius & 6105's to facilitate slippery licks & comfortable bends. The guts are nothin but the good stuff, & the motor a set of very "special" Lollars equipped with Alnico 3 magnets and 60's raised poles that were aged here at Rev. These pickups are some of the best I've ever heard anywhere anytime. This little Honey's single ply, 8 hole, white guard looks so gorgeous against the faded blonde nitro. Every screw and saddle shows the weather reminiscent of 1000 bars. Adding a set of real 1960's Fender knobs and strap buttons just seemed appropriate for this beauty. Take a long, hard look at the detailing on this piece. I believe you'll find it unmatched anywhere. This smokey 7lb. sweetheart comes with a lacquered tweed case. Big love to all....Mighty E |

Eric, I just had the chance to really put the tele through the paces. After a long search, I believe that I finally found an amp that has the voice that I like, a Carr Mercury. So I'm just now able to play and hear the Revelator in an environment that can give me the sound that I prefer. All I can say is WOW. It sounds just like a 50 year old tele should. The lollars are perfectly balanced and sound wonderful. The middle position is pure ecstasy. Everything is there, the sound, look, feel, vibe, mojo, whatever you want to call it. Perfect. You should be proud. I have always loved teles and have been through several over the years, Fenders, small builders, bigger builders, etc. Nothing I've owned has even come close. I'm sure there is a vintage tele out there that may equal the Revelator, but I'll never find it, my search is over. This is the one. I guess I'm fortunate that this one came available and was designed exactly how I would have designed it had I custom ordered it. Thanks for building such an incredible guitar. E, The Marc Ford Tele I got from you is doing great. I've tried a few other Tele's, and nothing even comes close. I know I've thanked you before, but I'll do it again, thanks for building such a phenomenal guitar. Greg C. Louisville, KY |
