What a nasty piece of lumber! This early sixties era white guard is bitchin from jump. It's sportin' a set of Lollar Vintage Telecaster pickups that are a perfect match for this instrument. They can be warm and mellow one minute and then rip your eyes out the next. It's both warm and smoky and untamed. The Southern Swamp Ash body is extremely light, (just under 7lbs.), and resonant. It's finished in my own hand mixed blend of ultra thin, hand rubbed, white blonde nitrocellulose lacquer. The rosewood slab board neck feels exceptional in your hand. It's a totally hand contoured "boatneck", (subtle "V"), that's smooth as silk to the touch with just enough girth at about .850". Every edge of this neck has been treated to feel 45 yrs old. It features real clay dots throughout and the Tadeo Gomez feel that my customers have come to expect. The flat top control knobs are heavy knurl & complete the totally hand aged hardware package.
