The pickups are out of this world. I love what this color calls to mind. It's much more of a cool 50/60's fleshtone pale peach color than the usual baby doll pink seen on "relics". This is the correct 56' Desoto shell pink. It just looks, sounds & plays beautifully. On very special occasions the woods, pickups, neck angle, frets and workmanship etc.. just come together & have a certain magic or alchemy that make the piece very difficult to put down. This is definitely one of those times. It's a mystery to me how when the materials used in the process are so similar some guitars just turn out being so much easier to play than others. This one definitely has "IT". It's super light, yet big, open, chimy and resonant sounding all at once. This is one of the single best guitars I've ever made. You may want to act quickly,..
